Amy Minor, owner of Mississippi For Sale By Owner Properties (MSFSBOP), was born and raised in Missouri. She graduated from Central Bible College in 1996. Amy, along with her husband Chad, moved to Meridian, Mississippi in 1999. Together they have 3 children. Her husband is the Supervisor of Homeland Security (TSA) at the Meridian Regional Airport and also serves as a Reserve Deputy on the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
MSFSBOP was conceived when recently trying to sell their home 'by owner'. Amy and her husband bought a home in Meridian and invested in updating the home. They chose to sell 'by owner' because they wanted to keep their hard- earned money. Even though their FSBO yard sign generated a lot of activity, they quickly realized the lack of advertising opportunities available to them to expose their home to the public in an effective way. With a little creativity and some hard work, they successfully advertised their home and had a buyer for their home at the full asking price. Amy and her husband have sold two homes in the recent past 'by owner' and have purchased a home 'by owner'.
"I have seen others trying to sell their homes/property 'by owner' and failing. Seeing this need, I have started MSFSBOP to help advertise for the local owner on a MUCH LARGER scale than they could do for themselves. I want to help others see YOU have a sign in YOUR yard...keeping YOUR money in YOUR pocket"!
MSFSBOP purpose is two-fold; 1) to educate and empower the owner to sell their home or property so they can pocket all their hard-earned money 2) to provide professional, effective advertising that will expose your home or property to the public by means of a consistent marketing plan that will bring you potential buyers.
We believe in catering to the needs of the local FSBO and will do everything we can to expand and enlarge the FSBO community... saving you money!
